Automotive Service Technicians- Overseas opportunity
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides automotive services by performing inspections, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations efficiently, safely and according to the employer’s quality and time standards. Complies with brand and dealership’s safety and environmental programs and practices. Automotive services may include, but are not limited to drivability, suspensions, alignments, steering, heating and air conditioning, basic and ABS brakes and exhaust systems.
Responsibilities include reviewing work orders and discuss work with supervisor, inspecting motor in operation, road testing vehicles, and testing automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostics and other testing devices.
Must be able to perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrication and tune ups.
Must maintain accurate records of work performed and parts required, and must work well within a team and with the general public.
The candidate must be familiar with new models, tools and equipment, and be able to test and adjust units to specifications for proper performance.
Must be able to diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm with supervisor before repairing and / or replacing mechanical units or components using hand and power tools.
The candidate must present a professional image, positive attitude and ensure the cleanliness of work area, tools and customer’s vehicle.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
5+ years’ experience
Candidate must have automotive technician experience within the last 2 years, and dealership experience is an asset.
Factory training is an asset.
