Mission
The contract Manager will:

• Be responsible for overall Contract operations and administration of the site.
• Be responsible for People Management and development of competencies.
• Be responsible for the profitability and management of Services agreements.
• Be responsible for Logistics and spares availability to run the contract.
• Ensure that the agreed availability of all machines is maintained at all times.
• Ensure maximum focus on any machine breakdowns and that preventative and corrective maintenance is carried out regularly.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

We are looking for a result-oriented and experienced professional with a proven track record in Contract Management and with a sound commercial awareness as well as the following:

• A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• A Management qualification is essential
• Knowledge of mobile/trackless equipment is a prerequisite.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Ability to plan and to budget
• Should be able to effectively supervise and lead a team.
• Should be computer literate.
• Clean Class 4 driver’s licence

• Strong entrepreneurial and leadership skills and ability to adapt for a multicultural environment.
• Good understanding of customer needs a ‘customer-centric’ approach is necessary
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
