A well established and reputable Insurance Company is looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the Agronomist position.
Qualifications
- Degree in Agriculture
- Insurance background will be an added advantage
- At least 1 year relevant experience
Description of duties
- Determining the extent of insurance protection required by farmers
- Evaluating general farming business of insured farmers
- Risk management surveys
- Drafting risk management measures for controlling claims costs
- Making presentations to farmers
- Train Agritex officers
- Site visits to insured groups
