Job Description – Agricultural Field Officer
- Responsible for implementation of the agricultural extension component of the .
- The position entails implementation of activities designed to improve agricultural extension support and facilitation of capacity building of target groups (smallholder farmers and public extension staff) in order to increase agricultural/livestock productivity.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Agriculture
- Demonstrated ability in the design and effective use of training materials.
- Knowledge on agronomy and other agricultural related programmes.
- Knowledge in agricultural program design and implementation.
- Experience in climate smart agriculture, lead farmer methodologis, good agricultural practices and SILC.
- At least 3 years experience working in an NGO environment.
