Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions that have arisen at Project Tariro (An Africa University related project) based at Old Mutare Mission Hospital.
Project Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, lead, control and evaluate nursing activities at the center to ensure provision of quality care to clients and their caregivers
- Monitor and supervise of income generating projects of PLWHA and their care givers
- Ensure safe custody of all drugs.
- Conduct Health education programs to PLWHA and their caregivers
- Train HBC volunteers through the provision of Outreach activities and home visits
- Teach Undergraduate and Graduate students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Theology, Agriculture, Humanities & Social Sciences and other faculties.
Requirements
Qualifications / Experience.
- Degree or Diploma in Nursing/Registered General Nurse
- Degree / Diploma Community Health Nursing or Certificate in Counseling
- At least five years’ experience in nursing, prevention, care and counseling of HIV / AIDS patients.
