Administrative Assistant (Records Management)
Duties Administrative Assistant (Records Management) :
- Establish a registry and documentation centre
- Ensure that all records and the contents of received mail are kept accounted for
- Computerisation of records in the registry section
- Classification of mail to ensure that it goes where it is intended
- Ensure that the information system in the Registry Section is functioning efficiently
- Supervise junior staff in the Registry Section
Qualifications and Experience of an Administrative Assistant:
- Degree in Archival and information Science or degree in Records Management and Information Sciences
- Registry procedures and classifier certificate will be an added advantage
- 2 years’ experience in an institution of higher learning will be an added advantage
