Administrative Assistant– Harare
Our client in the medical services sector is looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant with a bookkeeping background to work half-day.Preferred is a mature lady above 45 years.
Reporting to the Business Director the incumbent is expected to :
-Coordinate various office support services, including bookkeeping, purchasing and facilities management.
-Processing invoices, receipts and payments
– Completing VAT returns
– Checking company bank statements
– Preparing cash flow statements and management of debtors.
– Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
– May include supervision of office administrative staff.
Qualifications
-An Accounting or Administrative qualification required.
Skills
– Requires strong communication skills and some accounting knowledge.
– Familiarity with medical terminology, claims management and filing procedures is often required
– This position calls for frequent interaction with patients. Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.
– Knowledge of medical billing is a plus
– Computer knowledge and excellent communication skills; strong knowledge of medical terminology and a professional demeanor are required.
