Prepex Rollout Manager Vacancy: Zimbabwe July 2016

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring VMMC PrePex service delivery according to national and international guidelines and protocols.
• Supervising the Integrated PrePex rollout officers
• Development and implementation in liaison with Training manager of the PrePex training ? Ensuring that a QA system is developed for Prepex.
• Leading the development of SOPs, manuals and job aids for PrePex implementation at Primary Health Facility level.
• Analyzing field generated data on an ongoing basis and track efficiency indicators for Integrated PrePex service delivery
• Overseeing the on-going PrePex operations research field work ensuring compliance and linkages with research
• Working closely with PSI Research, CeSSHAR, CHAI, MOHCC in developing the protocol and overseeing the implementation of the Integrated PrePex Rollout pilot.
• Developing a minimum package for PrePex service delivery at Primary Health Facility.
• Overseeing site set up around the country and supporting the quantification of PrePex commodities and strengthen the supply chain system in collaboration with the pharmacy personnel.
• Working closely with the Logistician to ensure that an efficient supply chain system is established.
• Leading the implementation of new models of cost effective implementation including mobile caravans and the facility level integrated approach
• Monitoring and reporting all PrePex related AEs supporting the field teams to manage them
• Producing monthly, quarterly and annual and other reports needed by PSI, Donors or MOHCC
• Collaborating closely with the ministry in the development of PrePex training materials.
• Be the PSI technical lead in PrePex technical working groups.
• Continuously updating field teams on new developments and innovations in VMMC

Qualifications and Experience:

• Medical Doctor with vast experience in VMMC implementation
• Experience with programme rollout and working with the public sector
• An MPH is an added advantage
• Knowledge of research methods, excel and other databases essential
• Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in service delivery for MC is an added advantage
• Trained in PrePex
