TITLE: SYSTEM DEVELOPER/ PROGRAMMER
Location:HARARE
The Ministry of Health and Child Care is implementing an Electronic patient monitoring System (EPMS) for both TB and HIV programmes. The National TB program intends to hire a Systems Developer with relevant qualifications and skills. This is a contract position renewable annually based on the perfce and availability of funding.
Description
Overall Responsility:
Participate in spearheading the designing, development, implementation and system user training of the Electronic Patient Monitoring System and DHIS2 form design and Patient Monitoring System and DHIS2 form design and customization of system reports.
Assist in the gathering of user requirements and creation of the system design and functional specifications for all new development projects.
Be involved on applications programming and other appropriate duties relating to the system.
Integrating existing software products
Work closely with other staff, such as project managers, graphic artists, designers, developers, systems analysts in development of the EPMS software.
Requirements
A degree in Computer Science or ICT from a recognized institution of higher learning.
5 years’ experience in systems analysis, design and archtecture in a softaware programming environment.
Technical experience with systems networking, databases, Web development, and user support.
Knowledge and experience in using different development frameworks such as spring mvc, hibernate, struts, jquery, junit.
Knowledge and experience in software development languages such as: Java, PHP, C#, Android, VB.net, Certification in any of these is an added advantage.
Working experience of any two of the following RDBMSs:MS Access, MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle 10g.
