1. Captain B737 Fleet
As part of the Flight Operations Department, Captain requirements are:
Holder of a Zimbabwean ATPL
English Proficiency ICAO level 5
A minimum of 4 000 hours flying time
A minimum of 1 000 hours command time
A minimum of 1 000 hours jet time
Should in possession of a Class One (1) medical certificate
2. First Officer
As part of the Flight Operations Department, First Officer requirements are:
Above 21 years of age
A Zimbabwean citizen
English Proficiency ICAO Level 5
Holder of at least a Zimbabwean CPL
Holder of a First class medical certificate
A minimum of 1000 flying hours
3. Flight Attendant
To join the Air Zimbabwe cabin crew, requirements are:
Personal Attributes
Friendly, hardworking and articulate
Be interactive and enjoy working with people
Have experience in frontline customer service
Presentable, well groomed and professional in approach
Must be young and energetic
Qualifications and Experience
Five ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics and English Language
Applicants must be fluent in English, Shona or Ndebele and an ability to speak any other foreign languages will be a distinct advantage
Additional qualifications in Public Relations and Marketing or previous experience in a customer services environment would be an added advantage
Must be a result-focused person of integrity with excellent interpersonal communication skills
