This job is for a retail business.

Job Purpose:

To provide a general Human Resources service to the company office in Lusaka Zambia.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Selection: Coordinate and manage the process to assist line managers to fill all vacancies.
Employee administration: Handle all appointment processes and do all the administration involved for new appointments, transfers, terminations, etc.
Payroll administration: Give correct and timeous inputs to the payroll office and manage the total payroll process.
Disciplinary Procedure/Labour Relations: Facilitate all disciplinary processes when needed and advise management on the correct actions, according to the company policies and procedures.
Training: Coordinate all training activities and facilitate all Induction processes.
Culture: Ensure that all employees are informed about expected behaviour and monitor the culture in the business.
Monitor compliance to company policies and procedures and influence the correct behaviour of management and employees in general.
Key Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification.
At least 3 years’ experience in a general HR role, preferably in a retail environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of the total HR discipline.
Willingness to travel extensively within and outside Lusaka.
