Qualification and experience
- A degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
- At least three years post qualification experience
- Membership with the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers a distinct advantage
- Registration with the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe a distinct advantage
- At least 30 years old and mature
- Computer literate
- A clean record of service within the public service preferably ,a Local Authority
- A clean class 4 driver’s licence
Duties /Responsibilites
- Management of the Engineering and techinical services department
- Designing of all civil works,projects ,roads .sewer.dams .irrigation and water reticulation
- Preparation of roads programs reports and acquittals in liason with ZINARA
- Compilation of District development plans
- Implementation of council resolutions
- Servicing of the Roads ,
- Works and Planning Commitee
