3 x Social Workers, Legal Resources Foundation – NGO Job Zimbabwe
The Legal Resources Foundation, a local legal service NGO, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced social workers for three posts based in Harare, Bulawayo and Masvingo.
Reporting to: Centre Director and Child Rights Specialist
Status: One Year Fixed Term Contract
Applicants should be
– Registered with the National Council of Social Workers
– Interested in promoting and protecting the rights of the child
Applicants must be able to
– Provide skilled assessment and intervention for children and parents of children who come into contact with the law
– Attend to system dynamics of the Access to Justice for Children Project to foster effective service delivery and client satisfaction
– Implement child friendly methodologies in reviewing quality of service delivery
– Facilitate implementation of interventions that alleviate the burden on children and parents of children who are in contact with the law and assist them to cope
– Supervise and manage social work interns/trainees, including field supervision
– Prepare regular reports on the project activities
– Communicate effectively
Added advantages
– Knowledge of the NAP 2 for OVC
– Possession of a valid class 4 driver’s licence
