IT Technician – Transport & Logistics Industry
Our client a leading regional transport and logistics company is looking for the above to join their team
Duties and responsibilities
1. Systems administration and user support.
2. Fault documentation and resolution.
3. Carrying out backups for the company’s systems.
4. Maintaining user accounts and appropriate level of access to the company’s IT resources.
5. Maintaining accurate records of the company’s IT assets, both hardware and software and custody of thereof.
6. Carry out installation of acquired software (system application) and all necessary upgrades under the direction of Group ICT Manager.
7. Ensure the company’s computer systems have protection from viruses.
8. Ability to travel regionally for site maintenance and support when necessary.
Requirements
1. Relevant IT degree a must
2. Administration networking, Microsoft OS and MS office support..
3. Have knowledge on Cisco switches and routers/networking, CCTV, bespoke application support.
4. Must have at least 5 years in a similar role

Our client, an established Manufacturing Company is looking to hire a Sage X3 Developer.
Location : Harare
Job Specifications
• Responsible for administration of Sage X3 system along with installation, security, upgrades, support, enhancements, and system performance
• Evaluate and integrate new technology into Sage X3 system
• Act as lead in providing technical solutions and support over Sage X3 system Responsible for creating and maintaining user accounts and security profiles and roles
• Develop, maintain and support Crystal Reports and on-demand reports within Sage X3 system
• Work with different departments and individuals to identify and create solutions within the ERP system Provide off hours support for various system activities including month-end processes
Qualifications and Abilities:
Sage X3 Certification
• Technical experience with Sage X3 systems and database administration
• Ability to clearly communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation related to the system Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management
• Have a high degree of independence, flexibility and ability to establish levels of priorities for tasks
• Ability to communicate issues and needs with system administration
• Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to user issues
• Ability to understand system and software specifications/requirements in relation to hardware and company infrastructure
